An Admirable Being

How happy is he born or taught,
   That serveth not another's will,
Whose armor is his honest thought,
And simple truth his utmost skill.

  1. A wonderful thought and so true. Why is it that the most profound truths are the simplest! Perhaps the substance of humanity is not in his flesh and bones, but in the qualities he reflects, such as honesty, love for others, charity and a willingness to always forgive and forget. Thanks for the uplifting thought!

  2. Excellently worded matey. Yes, even our Lord Christ was a simple Man and it was His wish that all of mankind enjoy that same childlike simplicity and freedom that He had.
